I am beginning to realise more and more and I mean more and more every single day, the importance of limitations. One of the boons of obstacles or limitations is that they provide the necessary resistance for us to grow. To step further so we can grow into another version of myself. I read the other day a quote which is something to remember…The pessimist looks at every opportunity as an obstacle and the optimist looks at every obstacle as an opportunity. I swing between both and i am working on becoming the unwavering optimist. And hey if it pisses you off to see the brighter side to everything, then that’s you getting pissed off not me. That’s another lesson to learn taking responsibility for my emotions and not taking responsibility for other’s.

Now I am guilty of overthinking, addicted to mental kicks from thinking deep philosophical thoughts. So to lighten it up  I look at Leo my angel cat who just meows, and sleeps and chases birds on the terrace as inspiration!

On one such evening tormented by my inner critic, i ignored the voice and persevered on to come up with these. I had this voice prior to starting on the drawings that reminded me how mediocre my work has been so far, I said well  I quite like being mediocre, makes me happy. So letting go of that inner critic as I indulge in some funky cool designs for cards, t-shirts, enamel mugs, cotton shopping bags…whatever you please. Enjoy.

Yoga & Cats

These drawings were done inspired by my two favourite subjects, Leo my cat and Yoga!! They lend themselves easily to being printed on t-shirts, cards, and tote-bags.
